Addiction Treatment
Addiction treatment is intended to help people with compulsive drug and alcohol use.
Treatment can occur in a variety of settings, in many different forms, and for different lengths of time.
A short-term, one-time addiction treatment is usually not sufficient. For many, treatment is a long-term process that involves detox, removing the drug residuals from the body to prevent cravings and social education to improve the life skills needed to live a successful, drug-free life.
Drug Addiction
Drugs known to cause addiction include illegal drugs as well as prescription or over-the-counter drugs, according to the definition of the American Society of Addiction Medicine. The addictive quality of a drug varies from substance to substance, and from individual to individual.
Alcohol Addiction
Alcohol addiction is a complicated problem. Many say it’s just down to will power, but an alcoholic’s craving is so great that it suppresses the will or ability to stop drinking. Most alcoholics need assistance to stop drinking.
With effective treatment and support from family and friends, many have been able to stop drinking and rebuild their lives.

Narconon graduates don't have to live one day at a time - they are fully recovered. Our addiction treatment program rids the body of drug residues, stops the cravings and addresses the reason why they took drugs in the first place.
